Itinerary
Day 1 : JAISALMER
- We will pick you from your hotel or any preferred location within the city around 8:30 AM by Jee or Car.
You will proceed towards the Jaisalmer Fort where you will visit the Maharaja Palace, which will be followed by a visit to the Lakshminath Temple & Chandraprabhu Jain Temple.
Then you will visit the cannon point to see an antique cannon and a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
After this, you will descend to Gopa Chowk for having the famous kachori and ghotua laddoos.
After this, then continue your journey towards Nathmal ki Haveli with Heritage Walk through market.
Then you will proceed towards the Patwon ki Haveli, an archaeological marvel.
You may then choose to grab some rest at your hotel, or you may set off to explore Jaisalmer on your own till 4 pm.
Soon, you will head towards the Gadisar lake for an enchanting boating session.
After boating, you may sit by the banks of the lake to enjoy a romantic sunset by the lake and Enjoy light & sound show at Lake.
Later you will head back to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a good night sleep.
Day 2 : JAISALMER – TANOT – LONGEWALA – THAR DESERT
- Next morning, freshen up, have breakfast and check out from hotel at 8 AM.
Get picked up in AC Car and proceed for Tanot.
En route will take a short halt at Bada Bagh, a tranquil complex adorned with magnificent cenotaphs honouring Jaisalmer’s esteemed royal families.
We will continue our journey towards Tanot, and we’ll be reaching our destination after an approximately 2-hour drive through the rugged terrain of the desert.
On reaching Tanot, you will seek the blessings from Tanot Mata.
Later driver to Inod-Pak border point Bawaliyanwala Border.
After this, you will proceed to Longewala to visit the Sadhewala War Memorial and the Longewala Yudh Sthal, where you can immerse yourself in the history of the 1971 war.
Next, you will continue your journey back to Jaisalmer, and will take a short halt at Bada Bagh, a tranquil complex adorned with magnificent cenotaphs honouring Jaisalmer’s esteemed royal families.
Later continue towards the Desert Camp in Sam Sand Dunes.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly staff & allocated Swiss Tent with Attached Room at desert camp.
Mount on a Camel and ride into the dunes. (2 People per camel)
After camel ride, sit back on the dunes and enjoy an enchanting sunset view.
Return to camp and receive a warm traditional welcome with Dhol Tika & Aarti.
Soon you will be served a welcome drink and some snacks.
Witness a mesmerizing dance, music & cultural programme around the bonfire.
After the culture show, proceed to the dining area for Traditional Rajasthani Veg Dinner.
Later, you may return to your Swiss Tent for peaceful night in desert.
Day 2 : THAR DESERT – JAISALMER
- Next morning, wake up to a fresh new day.
Enjoy a delicious veg breakfast with Tea or Coffee.
Check out from desert camp at 10 AM and proceed for Jaisalmer by Car.
En route visit Kuldhara, an abandoned and haunted village.
Arrive at Jaisalmer and drop at your preferred location Jaisalmer.
Tour End with eternal memories of your tour with Marvin Camel Safari.
