Celebrating New Year’s Eve at the Thar Desert in Jaisalmer involves a desert camp experience with a traditional welcome, desert safaris (camel and jeep), a cultural program of Rajasthani music and dance, a DJ and party atmosphere, a special gala dinner, and fireworks at midnight, all set against the backdrop of the majestic Thar Desert. Guests enjoy a unique blend of adventure, festivity, and cultural immersion, making for a memorable desert celebration under the stars and a traditional welcome to kick off the New Year.

31st Night with New Year Celebration with Fireworks

Itinerary

Day 1 JAISALMER – KULDHARA - THAR DESERT - JAISALMER

We will pick you from your hotel or any preferred location within the city around 1 PM by Jee or Car.
Enroute Jaisalmer, you will visit either Kuldhara Haunted Village.
You will then head towards the Sam Sand Dunes for the New Year’s Eve.
On reaching the dunes, you will undertake a thrilling jeep safari into the dunes.
After the jeep safari, you will be riding a camel on the dunes.
After the camel ride, sit back on the dunes and enjoy an enchanting sunset.
Then you will come back to desert camp in a jeep, where you will witness a traditional welcome with, dhol, tilak and aarti.
After this, you will be served a welcome drink and some delicious snacks.
You will soon witness a nice cultural programme with dance, music and a fire show by the local gypsy community.
After the program, you will feast upon a delicious multi cuisine gala dinner.
After dinner, you may choose to join the New Year’s Party to dance like no one’s watching or maybe head towards the bar area to grab a couple of drinks (at your own expense).
At midnight, there will be magnificent show of fireworks to mark the beginning of the new year.
Soon the party will end at around 1 am and you may then head back to Jaisalmer.
On arrival, drop to your preferred location in Jaisalmer.
