Overview

Day Tour with driver from Udaipur with visit Chittorgarh on Same Dya Tour. The Chittor Fort or Chittorgarh is one of the largest forts in India. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fort was the capital of Mewar and is located in the present-day town of Chittor. It sprawls over a hill 180 m in height spread over an area of 280 ha above the plains of the valley drained by the Berach River.

Itinerary

Day 1 : UDAIPUR – CHITTORGARH - UDAIPUR

Upon arrival representative will pick you up in the morning at 7.00 am from your desired location in Udaipur to proceed for Chittorgarh by Car. As you sit in the car, can you feel the excitement that will grip your mind and heart as you start this wonderful tour with your drive to Chittorgarh. On arrival and proceed for sightseeing tour of Chittorgarh.

Chittorgarh Fort : Chittorgarh Fort is a massive structure with a 1 kilometre zigzag accent to it. The road leads through seven gates to the main gate Rampol (meaning Gate of Ram). The main gate of the fort itself is Surajpol (meaning Sun Gate). Within the fort a circular runs around the ruins of the fort.

Victory Tower : The Vijay Stambha (Victory Tower) or Jay Stamba, called the symbol of Chittor and a particularly bold expression of triumph, was erected by Rana Khumba. 

Rani Padmini’s Palace (Chittaurgarh) (Queen’s Palace) : This palace, a white building, a three storied structure (a 19th century reconstruction of the original), is located in the southern part of the fort.

Meera Bai Temple : Chittorgarh is the place where Meera Bai was born who was a Rajput princess and is also being well known as a poetess and saint.

After exploring Chittorgarh, you will drive back to Udaipur. This Historical tour will always remain in your mind for all the years to come.
