Itinerary

Day 1JAISALMER – NATURAL OASIS – KHABHA FORT - JAISALMER
- The Diwali Trip starts at around 2:00 PM in the afternoon from Marvin Camel Safari Office by Jeep or Car.
- On the way to a local village, you will visit Khabha and a Natural Oasis.
- You will soon reach the village and will receive a warm welcome by the villagers.
- Soon you’ll be served snacks and a welcome drink.
- You may then participate in the puja (religious ceremony) and light a couple of diyas.
- After puja, you may watch the fireworks.Be prepared to taste some delicious local cuisines prepared by the villagers.
- You will then sleep in a house within the village for a more localized experience.

Day 2THAR DESERT - JAISALMER
- Next morning, wake up early and you will then proceed towards the sand dunes.
- Here you will witness a mesmerizing sunrise on the way.
- Then you will be greeted by our healthy camels and friendly guides.
- You will be allotted one camel per person for a 30-minute ride within the desert.
- On reaching the dunes, you may set out to explore them on your own.
- Soon, you will be served delicious, freshly-cooked breakfast
- After breakfast, take a Jeep or car ride back to Jaisalmer.
- Tour End with eternal memories of your tour with Marvin Camel Safari.

Things To Bring:

A Hat, Cap Or Turban.
Fully-charged camera battery.
Toilet paper and a towel
Sunscreen and sunglasses.
Torch.
Medical kit (just in case).
A big smile and a positive attitude.
Umbrella (in case of rainy season or summer)
In the winter, warm clothes for night-time.
Long-sleeve shirt, long trousers, sneakers or other type of sturdy shoes. Remember, the sun is fierce!

We ask you not to compare Thar Desert with Sahara Desert or Egyptian sand dunes.
This is a real adventure desert safari so there are no washroom, no electricity and no mobile network available.
