Be a part of the much waited yet fascinating desert festival in Jaisalmer that is held in the Hindu month of Magh (February) three days prior to the full moon. So, the celebrations erupted throughout Jaisalmer and continue so, every year from the past so many centuries. These celebrations soon transformed into a desert festival which is now organized by the Government in collaboration with the local community. The desert festival is an expressive to witness the glorious heritage of Jaisalmer as you will be witnessing the Maha Aarti and Shobha Yatra (Ceremonial Procession). • “It was a Very nice experience and Marvin is a great guide. The night was very cold, so make sure that you bring enough warm clothes for yourself.”

    Jens HVerified Traveler · Google

    Johannes ClementVerified Traveler · Google
  • “Great experience! The camels seemed very well taken care of and the scenery and food were amazing. If you’re going in the winter months, bring a coat because it’s very cold at night!”
